Hi, this is Kerry Tucker's daughter, Mackenzie, my Mom e-mailed you a few months ago, If you dont remember
she was the lady with multiple myaloma!
Anyway, she will be getting her stem cell transplant very soon, and her doctors have told her we cpnnot have ferrets in the house without it being life threatening.




Hi...my name is Kerry Tucker and I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma about six months ago. My only hope for remission is a stem cell transplant. I am having this done at KU and I'll be in the hospital for around a month. The chemo they give you kills your immune system so you have to stay in isolation, even one germ can kill you.
You might wonder what this has to do with our ferrets...well, I can't be around them for a few months after I get out of the hospital or at least until my white cell count is back to normal. We could never give them away and we can't afford to have them boarded. (16.80 each/per day)
